History

1994 Dr. Raphael Plüss developed the concept of Inotech’s Encapsulator.
1995 Inotech launches the first Encapsulator.
1999 Inotech introduces a new Encapsulator series with patented electrostatic dispersion unit.
2000 EncapBioSystems Inc. was founded by Raphael Plüss, Franziska Wenzinger Plüss and Ulrich Wenzinger for the manufacturing of Encapsulators and the development of encapsulation products.
2001 Inotech introduces multinozzle encapsulation systems.
2002 Inotech introduces a concentric nozzle system for the production of microcapsules.
2008 1st of September EncapBioSystems Inc. purchases the encapsulation business from Inotech.

2010
Introduction of the new Encapsulator line: the Encapsulator BIOTECH is for encapsulation under sterile conditions, specially performed for animal cell encapsulation. The Encapsulator STARTUP is an open working system, offering access to the technique of micro-encapsulation at moderate price.
