| 1994 | Dr. Raphael Plüss developed the concept of Inotech’s Encapsulator. |
| 1995 | Inotech launches the first Encapsulator. |
| 1999 | Inotech introduces a new Encapsulator series with patented electrostatic dispersion unit. |
| 2000 | EncapBioSystems Inc. was founded by Raphael Plüss, Franziska Wenzinger Plüss and Ulrich Wenzinger for the manufacturing of Encapsulators and the development of encapsulation products. |
| 2001 | Inotech introduces multinozzle encapsulation systems. |
| 2002 | Inotech introduces a concentric nozzle system for the production of microcapsules. |
| 2008 | 1st of September EncapBioSystems Inc. purchases the encapsulation business from Inotech. |
